Looking At Programs and Need Help

Hello! I am new, so I am sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I am a holder of a bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Before completing the program, I had intended to be a medical SLP- working in hospitals/dysphagia/TBI/stroke. My mom unfortunately passed near the end and (long story short) due to the conditions under which this happened, I have a major interest in pursuing medicine and specifically psychiatry. One of the fields that I am looking into is being a PMHNP. I am currently int he process of moving to the tri-state area, so I know my options are a bit limited, but I am looking at UPenn's DE BSN-MSN. Do not get me wrong, I know DE's get a bad rep all around, but I like that this program is not a direct-to-NP practice program and that it is suggested to work as an RN between the ABSN and the MSN portions of the program, which I would have no trouble doing. After that I could pursue the post-master's certificate, or DNP if I wanted to work in the state of New Jersey.

I would have to complete my pre-req's. I have looked at John's Hopkins online, which is missing a general chemistry class, but I am sure I could get that through another school.

I guess I am just looking for some guidance as this is all still relatively new for me and I don't know if I am missing anything. Does this all sound impossible? I know these programs are expensive, but since I am interested in medicine, there really is no way to avoid that.
