Hi,
My guess is that if they misplaced your application then it didn't go before the last board and will probably go before the "next" board.
Fwiw, my Army package took three boards to pass, I think the first two were due to my recruiter error and well, I am still having recruiter issues and I already took my oath and signed my contract. I am trying to ammend/change my contract and he is just clueless and talking smack.
Good luck, be patient, it takes time but, hopefully worth is.

Gen's probably right; if they "lost" it for awhile, it will probably make the next board. I was in your situation back in December. My packet was submitted in November and I did'nt hear until January. It was a painful wait! Apparently this new system they have is troublesome, because my packet was also lost in space for awhile (thus taking so long to hear the board's decision). I wouldn't worry too much yet. Give them a few more weeks and see what happens. If your situation ends up like mine, you'll be receiving good news! Hang in there.

My application also took what felt like forever. So just have some patience...I know that's easy for me to say now. Hang in there!
