how long is the evaluation process

I live in Hawaii and I called the board here to see the steps to obtain my LPN/LVN license here. They told me that I had to get a CES evaluation because I'm a foreign graduate. So I submitted my transcripts and all and am still waiting for the evaluation results. My question to you is if you've been in my shoes, how long does it take for the results to come in? Also, if you live in California, how long does it for the results of your application to take the NCLEX? Because I plan to take the test there if the one in Hawaii takes way too long. I hope someone who has been in my shoes can answer my questions.:stone
