LIU New Accelerated BSN program

LIU is starting a new Accelerated BSN program for students that have a Bachelor's degree or higher in another field. The program's first class will be starting this summer and the first graduates will be the Class of Aug 2011. It's a 15 month program and students will take the same 16 nursing classes as the traditional students. I'm not sure if the program starts in summer only or not. There will be more info when LIU launches their new website sometime this month.

Eligibility:

- Bachelor's (or higher) Degree

- Cumulative 3.0 GPA overall

- Cumulative 3.0 GPA science grades

For more information, contact the School of Nursing at 718-488-1059

As of right now LIU has the highest pass rate on the NCLEX for BSN programs in the city. They also recently started a traditional BSN program in collaboration with HHC (King's County Hospital).

I'm sure you're referring to the Brooklyn campus....would you happen to know if there are any plans to offer an accelerated program at their Brookville (Long Island) campus/ C.W. Post?
