Hey. I live about 30 miles from Lewes. Very beautiful area with an active night life, at least during the Summer. Beach town about 10 miles from Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City,MD.(Atlantic Ocean). VERY active night life there. I assume you would be working at Beebe Medical Center. Moderate size hospital with a great reputation. Pretty progressive for this area. One of my favorite professors is the head of their alternative medicine clinic.

Also home to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry (so you're about 90 minutes from Atlantic City, N.J. too...if you're a gambler. LOL)

You would also be about 3 hours from Washington, DC and 4 1/2 hours to New York City. Overall a nice area. Quiet if you want it to be but also lots of activities within a short distance.

thanks very much for your information.. i think i may be taking a position there and your info helped a lot. thanks again: ))

Me again...I didn't address your question about the weather. September is usually still pretty warm. The ocean temps are wonderfully warm by then and the beach experiences it's "second season". Bring your sunglasses and sunscreen. Usually stays warm here until late October or early November. Fall is my favorite season and I think you'll love it too. :coollook:

Be sure to send me a message if you need some help or have any other questions. Good luck.
