Jacho?

who has had JACHO visit with them on a skilled nurse visit. What all are they looking for......I know I do my bag tech correct....I know I do my wound care correct.....but I get sooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous when someone watches me .....I am so scared I will do something wrong if one of them comes with me to one of my visits. any advice....

can someone re-enforce my bag tech.......or the wound care?

on the wound care....do you all get your supplies all out on you drape....and ready? what about your gloves? do you take your whole box out? or do you just grab a handful and put it on the drape?

here.....some questions....if ya all can answer them it would be great!!

1. you carry your hand sanitizer in your pocket? or on the outside of your bag? does it matter?

2. your alcohol pads to wipe down your b/p cuff...steth...thermom....etc...in the 'sterile' pocket? or on the outside with the hand sanitizer?

3. do you carry your drapes in your bag? I have a bag in my car with my drapes...and I take at least three drapes with me into each house is that ok?

4. and that glove question....do I leave my box in the 'dirty' part? or can I take the whole box out and put it on the drape for wound care?

5. do they want you to wear gloves for vs?

6. I have a drug book and a RN quick ref guide in one outer pocket of my bag...is that ok...

see now I am just 'freaking' out. I have aske all these questions all ready to my DON...but just like assurance!!!!

any advice...would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
