Ivy Tech 2015 scores

Hello!

So im super late and just found out Ivy Tech changed some things to there nursing programs. Wich is awesome because that means I just have to retake psychology and do well next semester in Anatomy and take the TEAS. I was wondering if the students who got in for 2015 wouldn't mind sharing there scores. Especially the Indy/Lawrence students. I would really appreciate it. If this doesnt work im going to Chamberlain.

I applied and was accepted with a 129. I thought I had no chance with a score that low. I think I got lucky since there is less applicants in the spring rather than the fall.

In my opinion, the changes have made it more focused on your TEAS scores. So I would study the manual like a mad man.

Good Luck!!

Yes, Lawrence Campus.

Thank you! Im hoping that that I have the luck you did. I have heard Ivy Tech has had less applicants because of the whole phasing out ASN in hospitals. So maybe that will help.

Where did you hear that? ASN's are not being phased out. And every Ivy Tech campus I know of has tons of applicants. It is hard to get in to. ASN's are not being phased out. Just like LPN's are not being phased out.

I worked at a Hospital in Indianapolis and they only hired ASN's that where in a BSN program. They only had 5 years to get it. Hospitals want magnet status meaning 80% of the nurses have to have BSNs.

When I worked at a nursing home most the new hired where ASN. Only one LPN.

ASN might not actually phasing out nation or state wide but hospitals are definitely phasing them out. This only an opinion from what I have seen. Didn't mean to offend.

I just applied to the lawrence campus ASN program. I have all A's in the three prerequisites, but only got a 72.7% on the teas! Hoping that's enjoy to get it!
