IV Fluid Question

Hi all,

Is there anyone out there who can point me to a resource that fully explains which type of IV fluid (0.9% NS, Lactated Ringers, 0.45% NS etc.) indicated for a specific condition and why? Ive been searching but can't quite find a source that explains it in a way that i'll remember.

    In order to know what fluids are used for different conditions you first need to know what each type of IVF will do within the body. Example: For a patient With cellular dehydration you'll wanna give hypotonic solutions so that fluid will shift into the cells to rehydrate them. I've attached a file hopefully it'll help.
