Well the second 2 questions don't necessarily relate specifically to IV therapy. Can't just give you the answers, do your home work. If you had a patient who had kayexalate ordered and do not much about what would you do? Look it up on your drug book. Antibiotic therapy gets rid of the normal flora in the gut which synthesizes vitamin K, which has the opposite action of coumadin fo coorifice meaning that there is a potential for there to be an exaggerated or increase effect of the coumadin (INR may increase), but is there a set protocol for when the labs have to be drawn? not that I know of that usually per facility or physician preference/policy. The first one is not A or C due to the fact that it is best if given slow as this minimizes the risk for an adverse reactions and irritation.

I would strongly suggest taking the IV therapy course. That would increase your chances of getting a job:heartbeat
