Your best bet for accurate information is to contact ISU directly - [email protected] or go to their web page and complete their inquiry form Indiana State University : Nursing

Aren't you in so. Cal? So Calif students are now being offered clinical in northern. Calif. Serious problem with clinical placement for so. Calif students. Contact ISU about whether excelsior's classes can transfer. Make sure you talk to a nursing counselor.

That post got garbled in transmission. What it should have said was this:

Are you in Suthern Cal? Because of the lack of So Cal clinical locations, ISU is now offering So Cal students clinical placements for med surg up in Northern California. This poses a serious problem for So Cal students especially those working LVNs. Not only will the student need to drive or fly from So Cal to No Cal weekly but also pay for a hotel room--over an above the ISU tuition and the clinical fee.

As far as whether Excelsior's classes are transferable to ISU, that is a tricky question to answer. Make sure you contact an ISU counselor to get definitive information.
