Is it possible to switch initial licensure to a different state?

Hi all! I'm in a bit of a dilemma, and hopeful one of you can give me some advice/insight. I graduated nursing school in PA and applied for licensure in California. It's been almost a month since California's BON has received my app, but I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone to see what the status of my app is so I can get my ATT and take the NCLEX. My problem is this: I got a job offer in Arizona starting the beginning of August. I will be out of the country all of July so I won't be able to take the test then... does anyone know if it's possible to switch my initial licensure from CA to AZ? Or how to obtain a temporary license/permit if that's even possible? :/ A bit confusing, but much insight needed!
