Hello,
My story, Have been on IPN for almost 4 yrs now, seems like my whole life. My situation is I have been out of work since last August due to my Spinal stenosis becoming unbearable. I stopped working partly due to inability to do the job due to pain. Dr prescribed me tramadol to be able to at least do ADL's. They were notified of this. I planned to have a procedure done but they needed therapy, a few series of injections etc before they would In the meantime, I was on tramadol approx 3 mos. taking PRN. Once when I had a urine at my pain spcialist it came up saying I had taken tapentadol, which I have never seen, barely even heard of. He came to the conclusion had to be an impurity or invalid test. IPN took this and now ran with it, I have had a substance abuse/pain management evaluation and had to take a poly. Was told today the poly showed I was "deceitful answering the question did I take it knowingly". I now am told I have 14 days to begin IOP treatment at either FRC or two other areas which are not in my area. FRC is way out of my financial range of completing. I am at a loss. I truthfully answered the question and now my future as a nurse is in definite jeopardy with right at one yr left in the program! As far as I see I have no recourse to this. My character is now flawed with this sounding like I lied.

A polygraph! Wow. I really feel for you…and can totally feel your pain (pun intended) as it relates to severe spinal stenosis. What state are you in? Have you had a lawyer at any point during your “troubles?”
