I think that is very exciting that you have decided to go back to school and get your CNA. I think that you will find that this career to be very rewarding. I started off working as a caregiver to decide if this was something that I really wanted to do or not. I loved it and decided to go for my CNA 1 where I worked in long term care. In 2008 I got my CNA 2 which would allow me to work in the hospital. When I left the nursing home I was making 12.50 and then 14.50 when I was working at the hospital. Good luck!
