Introduction

Hi,

I am currently a schoolbus driver looking to change careers, I earn 11.14 an hr now and havent had a raise in 3 yrs (not due to anything with me!)I'm planning on going to school starting Jan to get my CNA lic.,the school also offers home heatlh aide and I plan to take that course as well.I started studying ,going to the library and checked out books and am constantly on the computer taking tests.I live in the central fla area.So a good ole southern hello to all yall!:yeah:Please excuse spelling oops!

I think that is very exciting that you have decided to go back to school and get your CNA. I think that you will find that this career to be very rewarding. I started off working as a caregiver to decide if this was something that I really wanted to do or not. I loved it and decided to go for my CNA 1 where I worked in long term care. In 2008 I got my CNA 2 which would allow me to work in the hospital. When I left the nursing home I was making 12.50 and then 14.50 when I was working at the hospital. Good luck!
