I am interviewing tomorrow 1/27 at University of Alabama at Birmingham. I want to wish everyone luck who is interviewing with them this week. If anyone wishes to share any interview experiences with UAB I would appreciate it. I will be sure to share my experiences when I return home tomorrow night. Also, does anyone know how long before they will let candidates know if they have been accepted?

I had mine yesterday. It was a very pleasant experience. I had four separate interviews. Two 1 on 1's and two 2 on 1's
Don't sweat it, just be yourself. They did not really ask me anything clinical. Mostly very basic questions. I think the biggest thing was that they wanted to be sure that I knew what I was asking for and had the means to accomplish it.
The director told me that all decisions will be made Friday, and status letters will be sent out by the middle of next week.
Hope this helps!
Gump,
I second everything you said about the UAB interview. Very relaxed. Four individual interviews. No clinical questions. I think they just want to try and get to know you individually to see if you would be a good fit with their program. Good luck to those interviewing in the next three days and good luck to everyone who waiting to hear. They indicated they were interviewing 100 applicants of the 280 that applied. From that they will select around 35 for the Birmingham campus. Again good luck to everyone.

Four interviews, how excessive. Don't they know there is a shortage on?
