Interview

I've been a nurse for about 6 months on a cardiac tele unit. I'm thinking about transferring to a neuro step down unit. Can anyone give me some interview pointers? Things I would need to know to or that might be asked of me in regard to neuro?

Why don't you try saying something like "I understand that the brain heals differently in different people, even if they have suffered the same type of injury. I'm very interested in learning about these variations, as well as looking at each individual patient's rehab potential."

Of course you should only say this if you agree with it, but whomever interviews you will probably eat it up. Other than that, talk about things you like about your current position, but be sure to include reasons why you wish to expand your horizons.

I wish you luck and I'm sure you'll do great!
