Interview Process for WPAHS

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone works as a nurse for WPAHS, specifically Forbes Regional. I just graduated and passed boards less than 2 months ago. If so, what was your experience and interview like? Any info is must appreciated :-)

    Hello! I graduated from their nursing school this June and passed my boards last week. I accepted a position at WPAHS, specifically West Penn. Congrats to you on your license and your new job!!! I'm so glad to have someone on the forums that's from around where I am :-)

    My interview process began with something comparable to a phone interview with the talent acquisition person, followed by an in- person interview with the unit manager. On the phone, I was asked about my background, what I wanted to do with my license, what interested me, etc. A lot of the questions asked in the interview with the manager were scenario based-- this is a new interview style that they are implementing but it gives you a chance to really show who you are!
