Interview Help

Published

Hi,

I have an interview at a Correctional Facility on Monday. Any suggestions and help will be much appreciated.

What are the common questions they ask at a correctional facility and what questions should I ask them?

How should I dress for the interview?

Thanks.

i have worked many correctional facilities in two states and they dont ask too many questions-they just want to make sure i have a pulse and am breathing.

i have always worn scrubs (and NOT tight ones). i think wearing scrubs is the safer bet...unless you are corrections-savvy, you might not even "think" about the way certain civilian dress might be inappropriate, in even the most unsuspecting ways. e.g. open toe shoes (inmates get excited seeing toes), trousers that fit well (inmates have xray vision), a perfectly conservative seeming "shell" (showing bare upper arms/shoulders...another turn on for inmates)....you really have to make a conscientious effort to not dress in a manner that could even be slightly suggestive or sexy.
