Internship Programs

Has anyone done any internship programs at any of the hospitals in Florida? I applied for a job at Lee Memorial and they emailed me back stating that they wanted me to apply to their internship program. I will definitely be doing it, but I have to wait until August 1st since they only accept apps the 1st-5th of every month and they didn't email me until the 11th.

I was just curious if anyone has every done one of these and how it went. This would be amazing for me to get since right now all my experience is in LTC, which is not where I want to be, but was the only area that I could seem to get a job with no experience. I've been working for almost 8 months now. I'm also currently in WI, looking to relocate to FL. I already have my Florida license, just need a job.
