Hello, I just have a question for anyone that would like to tell me their thoughts.
I went through a shoplifting problem (I laid chocolates on top of my stroller and forgot to pay for them when I left the store) .. first thing in my life, I had clean record.
My lawyer just told me that the DA agreed we could plead to an infraction. This means I will not have a misdemeanor on my record... or a conviction for that matter.
He said the case will continue June 23, 2010. On that day I have to admit the infraction; Pay a fine of approximately $400; Once the fine is paid, the Court will enter an infraction on the record.
Again, he said this is like a traffic ticket.
1. DOES ANYONE OF YOU THINK I STILL NEED TO BRING IT TO THE NURSING DEPARTMENT?
2. DO YOU THINK THIS COULD BE A CAUSE FOR THEM TO KICK ME FROM THE PROGRAM STARTING 8/18/10?
3. DOES ANYONE OF YOU KNOW IF THIS COULD SHOW IN THE BACKGROUND CK? IT IS IN PROCESS.
I need to say this incident happen on 3/10/10 --> On 4/30/10 I got the letter of acceptance from the nursing department. They will run background ck sometime on June. :heartbeat
