Information on wintermester classes?

I attend TCC South and was thinking about taking a wintermester class? Has anyone ever taken one? How intensive is it?

Which class are you thinking of taking? They aren't so bad if you don't have anything else going on and have a lot of patience to sit still for long periods of time.

I took a Maymester class and it wasn't too bad. I would think it would depend on what you were taking. I know others who have taken minimester classes as well, and they did fine with them. The only drawback is that you're in the same class half the day, 5 days a week. I felt like I did when I had to take defensive driving. The day just seemed to last forever. That was probably due to the fact that the class was soooooo boring. Anyway, I got an A, so I'm glad I did it. By the way, which class are you wanting to take? I took Concepts of Physical Activity. It was strange because it is only a 1 credit hour class. My sister was taking Art Appreciation, a 3 credit hour class, at the same time, and I did just as much work and spent just as much time in class as she did. I thought that was odd. Anyway, you should go ahead and take a class. Take something that you really want to get out of the way. Good luck with it!
