I'm new here, and I was wondering if anyone else is having a rough time with getting their medical records approved. I got all of my medical requirements done at my general physician because I had a regular appointment that day, so I figured it'd be convenient to just get everything done at once since I'm already here. What bad judgment that was. Not only did they do the wrong Hep B titer, but they never explained my other results to me. In addition to that, it was like pulling teeth to get my medical records from them. I had no clue about my med. records from childhood, so I just went ahead and got titers for Hep B , MMR, and Varicella. I got the PPD, flu shot, and TBA shot as well. Since you have to wait some days before the skin test was done, it was mid December by the time they finished everything. I'm thinking I'm good to go. How naive of me....and even sillier for me to procrastinate a week to upload my records to Castlebranch. It was then when I found out that some of my documents would be rejected. Instead of the Hep B surface titer, they did the Hep B core, which got rejected. My MMR documentation got rejected too because even though 2 were positive, the rubella was equivocal and that's not good enough. I needed 2 shots. In addition to that I had to go back to the doctor to get an updated copy of my flu shots record because the first copy, which was rejected didn't include the lot number or expiration date on it. Mind you, I'm on a time crunch and it takes time for the site to review documents, so every time something gets rejected, I lose time. School starts in a couple of days and the results of the new Hep B titer aren't ready yet. I honestly don't think they gave us enough time in between getting accepted into the program, having our first orientation and classes starting. Our first orientation wasn't until October 28th and if I'm gonna need vacs for the Hep B , then that's 3 months right there. I fear I'm gonna lose my spot and have to wait for next Fall to start. I'm going to feel so stupid after telling people who asked that my clinicals were starting soon. Sorry for ranting. I'm just frustrated, but still crossing my fingers. And another thing I'm worried about is that I've already purchased my books and a new laptop with my financial aid. I don't know what will happen to that if I can't continue into the program.
