Hey everyone! I wanted to ask for yall's opinion, do you all think it's possible to study too much or too hard. After not passing the nclex the 1st time I have been pretty much glued to nclex books reading and answering questions. My friends and family have begged me to take a break but i do not want to let time slip back up on me and not have did everything i could to pass. I am currently not working so i have plenty of time to study, and don't get me wrong i do relax. I take time to exercise, play with my dog and every now and then i watch some t.v. But for the most part i am studying or looking at everyone's post on here. I have to pass next time. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I did the same thing!!! Like I told you, whatever makes you comfortable!!! Stop thinking about last time, take this NCLEX like its your first time taking it!! I studied so much and was on this site every five minutes!!! But you have to stop getting worried about it because when the day comes that anxiety might interfere with your thinking...the days before and after NCLEX I was terrified, but before NCLEX, like 30 minutes before, I called my boyfriend and asked him to calm me down...and he told me to think about a moment where Ive had fun and been calm, for me it was when I had my baby...Evry time , I got anxious about a question, I would go back to that moment!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
Okay, thanks so much i will continue to study the way i have and when i take the test again i will think about how happy i was being on the unit that i got hired at taking care of those babies. Those days were so lovely for me.
I think its the anxiety that gets to people...just have a moment and get back to thse questions...I believe you can do it!!!! GOOD LUCK...and when you feel like studying is pathetic...think about how cool it is when as a NURSE taking care of the babies!!! :)
