I have taken it in the past but the teacher wasn't good:angryfire. I am so determined to make it into registered nursing school because this has been my dream since i was a little girl and this whole test is stressing me out:uhoh21:! Any advise please! Thank you:D!

Chemistry alone is not going to stop you from doing well on the TEAS exam. I am not good at Chemistry either, I think I got a 30% in that section but scored in the 99th percentile overall. Just keep studying using the study guide, you will be fine.
Wow thanks you guys!!!!! and anne in maryland congrats on your TEAS score!

I recently took the Teas, I did well enough to be accepted into my program of choice! I should add, I have not been to school for about 15 years, boy that hurts to say
I thought the ATI study guide was OK. For the math, I have to say I highly recommend Basic Math and Pre-algebra for dummies book. It found it covered a good portion of the material that is on the Teas. Took me thru the topics from start to finish, and some great tips on how to remember and work thru problems.
I also got a supplement to the Science portion, a basic biology study guide.. I worked thru the Teas study guide, and found some good tutorials online to study specific topics. I agree with the other poster, that a solid proficiency in Chemistry is not needed, but certainly what training you have so far will be helpful.
Also, take the practice test on line. The first time I took the test, I did not take the practice test, and I bombed it (ran out of time on math - watch out for that!).
Well, anyway I hope you find this helpful... K

I know exactly how you feel, I was so stressed before taking the TEAS as well. I took it about 2-3 weeks ago. I was very worried about the science portion as well, we got to use a calculator for math. I too ordered the ATI TEAS study book, and it was a HUGE help. I liked it a lot because it broke things down really easily, gave you your vocab, and had practice tests in it. I think this helped reduce my anxiety a lot, and I highly recommend it.
