Howard Community Accelerated 2014

Just got an acceptance letter from HCC for the Summer 2014 Accelerated Program. Is there anyone else who has been accepted? Or perhaps any past students want to chime in with any pointers? Any information is greatly appreciated. :)

Congratulations! I also applied to the accelerated program but I never heard back. I have a 3.5 gpa but I don't have a bachelor's degree so I knew my chances were slim. Good Luck :) : )

I don't have a Bachelor's degree either so don't give up hope yet! They may still have more letters to send out :)

I hope so :) my fingers are definitely crossed (If you don’t mind me asking) How many points did you have? I only had 8; I had three B’s and one A for my sciences which I think cost me a few points.

My overall GPA was 4.0 and my science GPA was 4.0, as well. So that is where my points came from (20 pts for each, I believe). Have you applied to any other programs? Best of luck to you! :)

Also, I am a Howard County resident so I think that helped a bit.

Wow that’s amazing!! Considering that I only had 8 points, I think it’s safe to say I didn't get in... ….

HCC was my first choice but I live in Anne Arundel County so I wont be applying to their traditional program.

I applied to Anne Arundel Community College in August, and most recently to the University of Maryland. Once again congratulations, and good luck next semester. :)
