How long for boards?

Hello everyone! I figured this might be the best place to ask this question, since it's for relatively new nurses.. I go tomorrow to take state boards, and I'm just wondering how long it took some of you to complete your test? I know it varies from person to person, just looking for a general reference. The place I have to go is 2 hours from where I live, and my Grandmother would like to ride with me. We want to get there a few hours early and do lunch, etc, and then I will go and test. I have always been fairly quick at tests (I know, I know.. I'm going to slow myself down tomorrow, don't worry!), but I don't want to get there and it take several HOURS to finish, with her waiting on me. KWIM?

So, any input would be appreciated, or if there has been another thread posted like this one I'll take that too. :) Thanks!

I think I took about an hour and a half or so from going into the building to going back to my car. I test quickly, but I made myself slow down. I took the tutorial because I was nervous and needed to settle down. Then I reread all questions/answers and then rechecked again before submitting. I also completed the questionnaire at the end. If you test quickly, and if you get 75 questions, you should be out of there in under 2 hours. However, we've all heard stories of people getting many more questions than 75 and we have to be prepared if that's what happens.

Good luck with your test!

It took me almost exactly 75 minutes to do 75 questions. I took it at the same time as a friend of mine. She took the same amount of time: 75 minutes to complete 75 questions.
