Hello there comrades.
I'm a foreign graduate so I focused on the NCLEX style of questions these months by answering NCLEX question books. I'll be taking the NCLEX exam about 2 weeks from now and I have a lot of anxiety popping out. My self-confidence is still here with me but I'm sensing it to be wearing out and I'm easily stressed out this time compared to months before.
I'm focusing on my weak areas and still continuing to review NCLEX books and notes from college. I'm wondering if there's a point where I can say "I'm confident in passing the NCLEX".

I don't know if anyone can ever really feel ready for this test... I was supposed to test again November 23rd but I rescheduled because I felt like I wasn't done preparing. I know that I will never know every single little thing, but I want to make sure I understand all the concepts and have a good base of knowledge of every category. I'm sure it's different for everyone. Good Luck!
Coz you know, I'm used to say that to myself, like for example, in our Finals exam...I'm not in the top crop of our batch but I can say to myself that I'm confident everytime I take an exam. But now, there's just a creeping self-doubt on me.
Good luck too. I hope before this year ends or in the beginning of the the new year, we'll pass our exams already.

I'll be also taking my exam this december, haven't gotten my ATT yet but it is expected to come by Dec 10 or 12. Haven't decided to take the exam before christmas or after. I'm taking Kaplan now and I should be ready by the time my ATT comes. This is my second time, failed my first time. So I definitely feel how you guys feel. To me I feel double the pressure this time since I've already failed the first time. But we shouldn't let the pressure and anxiety get to us. Because we will surely fail if we allow that.
I'm building my confidence by answering as many practice questions as I can. Saunder's, La Charity, Kaplan...because thats what I lacked my first time taking the NCLEX.
Sigh...that bad PVT pop up keeps haunting me everytime I think if I'll be able to pass or not. I hope someone can shed light on this...

I dread the PVT every single time.. I've also been doing as many practice questions as I can, which is a big change from all the previous times I have studied. I just ordered Saunders testing strategies from Amazon so I'm hoping that will help. I have MAJOR test anxiety.. I just want to pass this test already

No matter how much you study for the NCLEX, you'll most likely feel like it is never enough. That's how I felt AFTER taking the exam, even after tireless months of studying. BTW, I self-studied -- I never signed up for any review courses because I knew where my weaknesses and strengths were and I most certainly did not want to dish out hundreds of dollars for something I felt confident in studying on my own. I stuck with my review plan and books (Saunders 4th ed., Kaplan strategies, and LaCharity), and did thousands upon thousands of questions. With more practice, you'll begin to familiarize yourself with the NCLEX type questions and build that confidence to say "Hey, I think I'm ready!" Good luck!

I think you will never be ready. I'll be taking mine tomorrow and I'm not ready!
Yeah I decided to take it. My friends recommended it and they passed their nclex. We'll see how it goes. You?
You guys remind me of my former classmates in my section on the last year of college. They're so cool and always calms me whenever anxiety attacks me. Almost of all them are now nurses on our country.
I hope you have a review that is fun and is worth it. Let's study hard and try our best in our exams. ^_^
