How I did on TEAS practice test A

Published

Hello! I am new to this site. I have been studying EXTRA hard for the ATI teas test. I purchased the ATI practice exams. I took the first one and received an 83.3% overall. reading: 78.7%, math: 84.4%, Science: 85.1%, and English: 87.5%.

My lowest score is reading, due to the tricky questions/ time limit.

I take my test this Tuesday. How does the real exam compare to the practice exams? I am reading mixed reviews on the subject. Has anyone found the real exam similar to the practice test, or is it harder/ easier? Thanks!

For me, practice exam A was easier and practice exam B was harder than the actual exam

I took the practice est form A and got a 76..Just took the real exam and got a 68. Huuuuge difference. I'd say that during the real exam, your nerves get to you knowing the time is ticking especially during math and reading. You just have to relax and pace yourself. in my opinion the test is definitely difficult

Thanks guys. Took practice test B and I got a 77% overall. The second one was harder. I am taking my test this Tuesday, but I know I'm ready!

Soooo, I took my TEAS today. I scored higher on the real test than the practice exams! I received a total score of 85.3%.

Broken down...

Reading: 83.0

Math: 93.8

Science: 78.7

English: 87.5

That science section was hard! Granted all sections were tough, but adding the nerves into it makes it difficult.

I'm happy with my score though; my score put me into the 95% percentile rank. Hoping to get into the nursing program this year. :)

I'm taking the ati assessment A right now. I thought this was supposed to be a practice test, but I don't see any type of timer.....and you wouldn't even be able to time yourself with the answer given right after (using time to click through it). So how do you even know how well you will do on real test based on this just being like all other practice problems?
