Horrible Feeling....

i just finished taking my nclex rn today and walked out of the testing center feeling like i did absolutely horrible. i got all 265 questions. i can't say exactly how many of the questions i just guessed at, but lets just say it was a bunch! i was feeling confident that i had studied over 3500 questions from the cd that came from the book entitled "comprehensive review for nclex-rn" written by mary ann hogan. i felt this was an outstanding review source and came with a cd that contained over 5500 questions. i took the comprehensive test on the cd as well as in the book...all 265 questions, and scored a 65 and 68. i thought that was a preety good score. i was getting questions on the boards that left me absolutely clueless! i guess my question is, how much studying is "enough"? is it true that of all the people that fail the nclex the first time, a good percentage of them answered all 265 questions? oh well, i will find out my results tomorrow.

btw..this is a great website...filled with honest and sincere people willing to advise those of us just getting our feet wet...............

hi, everyone leaves the test taking center like they failed. i cried and was convinced i did too, but i passed...the questions you get have no say if you pass or fail!!! remember 85% pass the first time...good luck...keep us posted!

I felt the same way. I couldn't eat or sleep. After I left the test, I was convinced I failed. I was already puting together a back-up plan and new study plan. Even though I basically felt awful, I checked my results and passed. Just pray. You will make it through this. I think this is a great website too. It does help to know people are or were in the same boat as I was. Keep believing.

Hey there,

Me too!! I took it last week and the weekend was horrible, and I'm still waiting. I did all 265 questions and did not feel good at all. I'm even more anxious because it's taking so long for my results (but suzanne says it takes 10-30 days in CA). Horrible isn't it? My house is clean and everything is organized (obviously I'm trying to keep busy, right?).

But I really like this weekend. Everyone is honest and Suzanne the moderator is awesome. Her responses are always helpful.

well Good Luck to the both of us!!
