I take it on the 24th at st.paul school of nursing and I'm a little nervous but I'm with you this is my third and last attempt as well. I've been studying night and day math is my weakest subject so I've been going over ratios, proportions, conversions, and fractions. For the grammar, reading, and vocabulary I've just been rereading what is in the elsevier book. Rewriting the vocabulary, I'm just trying to pace myself

Hey y'all!! So my advice for the vocab is definitely write out how you associate the word to it's meaning...

Ex: Adhere - To hold fast or stick together.

We use adhesive tape to stick things together, so by the word adhere, I would write out adhesive tape.

My advice for math is to go through the whole section of your review guide starting from the basics. As silly as that may be, you might actually be skipping a very basic step in solving your harder/lengthier equations. Work out every sample problem there is in your review book. Though this may be time consuming, it will help tremendously.

Also for both you guys, if your review book has a quiz in the back, take those quizzes and check your answers. Review the one's you got wrong and try to focus on them a little more. And that's for all your troubled areas.

I used the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review, 3rd Edition. I took my test on the 16th and passed. I used the same advice I'm sharing with y'all.

Make sure to get a good night's sleep the night before and relax. If you come across a question that stumps you, take a deep breath and work it out. You guys got this!!
