Help! Tips for interview @ Bradley U/Decatur Memorial Hospital

Hi all, I have an interview scheduled for Bradley University/Decatur Memorial Hospital's program and wonder if anyone has any tips? I know there is an exam (which of course I'm nervous about), but any words of wisdom? Thanks!

Just got an interview, the first I have gotten. I'm assuming I should crank out some CCRN review questions. Anyone have any tips other than dress code ;-)

Haha I forgot that I even posted this back in '07! Well, now I can respond and answer my own question- and yours! The interview process is very thorough, which is very nice---you meet current students, get a tour of their ORs, ask questions, etc....everyone is very nice and excited to discuss the program. Brush up on ACLS drugs/rhythms and CCRN questions---things could have changed since I interviewed, but there was an exam (should be a-ok if you've had a least a year in the ICU and have experienced swans, balloon pumps, etc) and a panel interview. I was impressed with the entire process and with the faculty/students (but ended up choosing a program closer to home here in chicagoland)---best of luck to you!

Yeah I do think Bradley looks very high on cvicu experience. In fact, while visiting a relative in OSF St. Francis Mecial Center (Peoria, IL) I spoke with several nurses who said that their CVICU has a very high turnover rate because of people going for one year and then to CRNA school at Bradley/Decatur. It is a school on my list as well and I've been wondering if it could be done if you dont live in that area? Can students live in a dorm or something of that sort in order to attend there without entirely moving?
