HELP

Hello all, I am in desperate need of HELP. I graduated with my MSN in FNP studies last August, and I have taken the FNP exam x4, both ANCC and ANP. i HAVE FAILED EACH TIME!! I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP/ADVICE! I am currently working full time as an ED nurse, but I also have ICU experience. PLEASE HELP ME PASS. I have the Leik book, took the Leik webinar, and also have the Barkley CDs. I don't have a clue what I'm doing wrong :*(. PLS AND THX ALL :))

    First off, WOW really sorry! I graduate in May so I have not taken boards, however I read many hints on here. One that really stuck with me was making sure you can out loud verbalize certain conditions patho and then treatment....

    Example,

    Take Asthma, then without cheating go through all 4 different stages....what they are, differences between them and then how the treatment plan differs.

    Another take would be to study a syndrome such as "rash", then choose 3 different skin rashes that are similar yet different and compare and contrast, so maybe eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.

    The books are great (maybe add Fitzgerald) but you can't just do a bunch of questions and memorize answers, you must completely understand the concepts.
