This is my first post ever...This is how desparate I am. I just failed NCLEX and will retake it. Can anyone offer advice how to better prepare for this monster. I must have gotton all the hard questions. I hardly recognized meds, etc. I got the full 265 questions. To help me pass, I paid for classes, bought books and studied, studied, studied, but it didn't work for me. So HELP, any suggestions is appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you did not pass. I took the test in July. I combined a couple of different reviews in my stuides. First, I took Kaplan's review class and used the on-line Q-bank. After the month long class was over, I used the Q-bank and question trainers everyday. I also purchased NCSBN 3-week review and did their questions. In addition, I purchased a review book that focused on Priortization, Delegation and Teaching. I think that the combination of all the material, and just really put in 3-4 hours (150-200)questions a day really helped me pass. Make sure you know and understand your major diseases and meds. I came to the realization that I could not possibly know everything, you have to just do your best. Good luck!!
