HELP! Preparing for the NCLEX

Hi!

I am currently in my final preceptorship and will be graduating in December 2014. I am planning to write the NCLEX RN late in January or early February 2015. Could you please give me some advice as to when I should begin studying? I was planning to take the HURST review classes and purchase some prep guides (i.e. Saunders comprehensive review and Kaplan premier).

I don't want to study too early in advance but am wondering how I should go about studying. Should I study these core content review books (i.e. Saunders) now? And then continue to review these materials until December in order to make sure I completely understand all content. Then in December I can begin to practice questions for the NCLEX?

Does anyone know what fundamental items I should review? (i.e. drugs, diseases, skills etc.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance :)!!!!
