Help!!! Personal Statement

I am applying to nursing school for next fall and they want a 3 page personal statement.

I bought a book on personal statements to help me get started, but I'm still stuck!!!

Any suggestions on how to get started?

Don't start by trying to write out your final product word-for-word. Start by making lists of major points you want to make (e.g. why you want to be a nurse, what types of experiences have led you to make this decision, what personal strengths you have that will help you be a good student and a good nurse, etc.)

After you make your lists ... begin to state them in sentence form ... then organize them into paragraphs.

So ... what are you going to put on your lists?
