help on overseas placement

I am currently finishing my second year of my BSc in Nursing at St Bartholomew's School Of Nursing and Midwifery, London and I am interested in doing one of my placements overseas. I would preferably like to work in a hospital in Malaysia, Mexico or Brazil, in an orthopaedic ward or accident and emergency, however, I am open to other suggestions. The problem I am having is that my university insists that I make all the contacts alone, and have provided me with little guidance. I am trying desperatly to speak to someone who is familiar with this area of nursing and who may know of someone I could contact to speak with about this. I would love to have the opportunity to take part in such a rich learning experience and feel I have a lot to learn and offer the different people I would meet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry but I used somebody else's question to help me with mine
