HELP! NEED SOME ADVICE

I'm stuck between 2 jobs.

Job1 I already work here and have been for 10 years, 9 years as a CNA, and recently became RN. I recently had a baby and I want to cut down to part-time, with this job I have to go back full time before I can ask to be cut down so no guarantee I'll get part-time. Insurance will be more, pay is the same my problem is I love the people I work with.

Job2 is part-time, insurance is cheaper, better education/training and I did accept the job offer but I'm having second thoughts mainly because it's a new environment for me I'm scared to step into a place I know nobody, the charting system is different and they could not tell me if I would work days or nights.

Can someone give me some advice I'm a new nurse with a new baby.

Hmmm....I don't have children, so I'm not sure about that part.

But I will say that putting yourself into new situations is not a bad thing at all. The more you 'conquer', the better you'll feel.

When I started out after nsg school, I sought out the jobs that would widen my experience, because I didn't want to be scared; facing the 'new' gave me a whole lot more confidence than staying somewhere just because it was familiar.
