Hi :) Med surg is one packed course, but it's really interesting. I found that using the powerpoints our professors provided were useful but I ALWAYS supplemented with either Saunders or the HESI book (many of our exams were HESI and Kaplan exams) Saunders is great it will will also be a useful tool for when you take your NCLEX. Also, just keep up with it. It's a lot of content and cramming it will be too tough. Pay attention in class and right after, supplement it with Saunders.
I always took my notes in class next to the power point in one color (black) and used a different color ink for notes I took on my own from the Saunders. I also color coded EVERYTHING. Good luck!
