Adam,
Remember your essay, and your experiences under your resume.
The program director is going to pimp you on that. The interview is designed to ascertain you are truelly A critical care nurse. Know your Cardiac meds, and the usual ACLS stuff.Remember this lady has a graduate degree in pharmacology.
When you go to the assistant program director make sure you know your PA-line stuff(pressures, waveforms). Then be prepared to let loose on your personal life. She is just trying to ascertain your support system.
Some students did not like the interview, they viewed it as hostile. I think they were trying to determine your limits and how your react once you reach your limits. Nice program.
You guys will show as a group but they will call you guys one at a time to the office.
Current students will come in while you guys are sitting as a group and answer any questions you may have. Before the interview starts the assistant director will tell you a little bit about the program.
If am not mistaken they will help you search for housing. Really nice people after the interview is over. Some of their graduates are in CRNA only practices. Some of them have their own businesses outright. The program directors loves that.( it fosters the profession)
Disclaimer: I am not a student there.
Good luck.
