I highly recommend the kaplan review course. There are options for kaplan review courses that can be taken online on your own schedule.
Thank you so much!! how long did you study for it?
I studied for four months, although not every day. I needed some math review and when I signed up for the kaplan course they were offering the math refresher course for $99. , so I signed up for that as well. The math refresher has a few video lectures and tests to improve your math skills prior to starting the GRE review course. The GRE review course helps you save time by teaching you faster ways to do the math problems and prepare for the verbal reasoning and writing sections. There are multiple practice tests you can take to assess your performance and help determine how you score might be on test day. I found it very helpful. I took the On Demand courses that you can do at your own pace.

I used the study guides...verbal wasn't a problem for me but everyone is different. I hired a private math tutor who had taken the GRE. I just researched math tutors on google and talked to a few. I had like six one hour sessions with him about geometry and we just worked through my GRE practice book with him giving me more of the same types of questions and explaining things to me. I went from a 450 (without math tutor) to a 620 with math tutor. Good luck!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have a good GPA and 2.5 years of experience in ICU preparing for CCRN, but I really need a better GRE score ~ so with the tutor and on your own how long did you study for the test?
thank you! I am working on finding the best way to study
