helP me! i dont know wat to DO...

:ohi.. im currently reviewing at kaplan.. i have my sauders book too.. i dont know wat style i am goint to use... i am really pressured about the nclex... i just enrolled at kaplan last oct 8... can u please help me.. specially those who passed the exam to give me tips on how i al going to review and wat styles do they used...

i am really really confused.. should i take the sample exams??? or review the concepts??? or lessons first???

Okay, first...relax. I know that is hard to imagine. But, anxiety contributes to altered thought processes. Do this right now: Inhale with full expansion and very slowly and deeply, then exhale completely slowly and deeply. Repeat at least 5 times. Remember to do this often, especially when testing date draws near and while you are testing. Now, you have been enrolled with kaplan for awhile. It seems that you might need to get control and focus, maybe you should create a planned schedule and stick to it, focusing on day to day rather than "OMG there is so much info I can never do this". Yes, you can and you will.

Start with the Kaplan book. Read a unit, then go to the videos online and watch related content on that unit. Then, choose a tutorial Qbank of about 20 questions. As you get the answer wrong, take a notebook and write the rationale down. These will be your notes to study. Once you have covered all the content just keep doing questions, at least 100 every day. You will feel tortured and this is normal.

Watch all the videos on Kaplan, they are VERY useful. I did this method with a NCLEX review book and then started Kaplan. Overall I did about 5,000 practice questions. I took Nclex and the computer shut off at 75, and I was pretty confident I passed. I find out on Tuesday!!

Hey, Hi.. Is this your first time to take the exam? We're on the same boat.. But for me I now trying do some planning.. Now I'm in NCSBN on-line course and using those syllabus that they gave and do my own schedule.. Im trying not to mix one referrence with one another meaning I have to finish with one book before i jump to another book.. How about you be organize and relax..

i am preparing for the exam too. if you already took the diagnostic test, then might as well study first the concepts that you think you really need to polish.

it would also be good if you follow the phases which they suggested on the book. it will help you stay on the track.

i would check the sticky at top of thread new revised first tip of suzanne's plan. i am using it i will be taking it a 3x in oct. keep your head and have faith , believe and you will succeed. we never know why god puts us in theses situations but, know he knows what should happen in our future that we will never know because we did everything would be easy. stay determined and god will follow thorough don't give up.
