Hi all,
I wanted to share my diagnostic scores with everyone..to see if anyone has any helpful input..Im embarrassed of my scores, but Im looking for guidance. Ive been unsuccessful twice already on my NCLEX :/
Management of care: 61%
Safety and Infection Control: 50%
Health Promotion and Maintenance: 61%
Psychosocial Integrity: 67%
Basic Care and comfort: 64%
Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies: 67%
Reduction of Risk Potential: 76%
Physiological Adaptation: 56%
When I got my NCLEX report back, they all said near the passing standard and one of them said above the passing standard.
Is there any hope with these scores :/
My study plan is everyday at least 4-5 hours and questions..I need to pass!
& Im enrolled in the Kaplan On demand course, going to watch their content videos and there questions
I have my Saunders book
& La Charity..
I also have the HURST review booklet and videos but that didnt help me last time.....
Any advice! I mean I dont think Im dumb, but Im desperate...I cant fail again!
Thank you in advance!!!

it seems to me you're good to go when it comes to content, considering your nclex report showed "near passing standard" in almost all areas.. i suggest you practice answering more questions, read the rationales.. the rationales are very important in getting to know why your answer was wrong, so read ALL rationales regardless if it was right or wrong.
do 100 questions a day once u've availed of Kaplan.. i hear their QT's and qbanks are very helpful, so try to finish all of them before taking the nclex again.
rest on the weekends to prevent nclex burnout. believe me putting too much info in ur brain is exhausting, and u won't likely be able to absorb more info if your brain wants to doze off to slumberland.. take breaks in between study time and make sure u have healthy sleeping habits..
eat healthy
say a prayer every chance u get, esp before reviewing
most importantly, BELIEVE u will pass :) best of luck to you..i wish u all the best

I can't say much about the score, since I still need to take NCLEX and its freaking me out already. But looking at your scores it seems you were really close to passing.
Did you take Hurst in class or online, because I wanted to see if I can get access to online video. Thanks

your scores look good. here is a link where members were comparing their scores https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/those-who-passed-571235.html in reading these posts, you will find that there really isn’t a scientific method in determining the cutoff point in order to pass nclex. some passed the first time with low scores while others failed with relatively high scores. if you feel confident with content, really begin focusing your efforts on prioritizing and delegation. you mentioned having lacharity’s book. that is a great resource.
