How to study:

Read as much as you can before class

Take notes and record the lectures

With the intructor notes, use the book to add your own

Rewrite you notes as soon as possible

Review every day (new information early in the morning, and evening older information)

Make flashcards on the pathophysiology of the diseases (assessment, diagnosis, treatment, nursing interventions)

Get a good Nclex-PN book and practice questions (saunders)

Meet the instructor to help you organize your notes and how to study

Ask other successful students for tips

Eat a well-balanced meal (energy vitamin water, fruits, vegetables)

Study to undertand (eg. when I go to the patient's room, what 3 things will I be looking for?)

Try them and see what happens

Pay attention to drug side effects

I wish you luck
