Has anyone had problems with being red/green color blind and being a nurse

I will be starting an ADN nursing program next week and would like some advice. (I am pretty nervous. I have completed all of my courses such as AP 1&2, Micro, etc and will be able to concentrate strictly on my nursing courses. My wife allowed me to leave my job of ten years to pursue my lifelong desire to be a nurse.) ) I would like to know if there are any red/green color blind rses reading this and what problems they have encountered in nursing stemming from this. If they have encountered problems, what have they done to overcome them. For example, do you have problems identifying redness around wounds.

Started a new thread for you; it won't let me give a reply here. Just trying to see if it will let me post a SMALL reply to let you know....
