Happy Vent

Published

Im always looking to this board to vent my frustrations but I must talk about my good days as well and appreciate them more especially when lately it seems as there are so few of them. I love my job, love my residents but hate dealing with the extra stuff.... all the negatives that we all know about. But today was a great day, being a saturday it was slower than usual even though its days and I got to do all the stuff i love doing... like actually showing my residents how much I care by spending time with them, talking to them, doing hair/nails ofresidents that enjoy that, or reading with a resident who enjoys that, or sharing laughs with others. I was able to show love to the quieter ones, the ones some tend to forget about because they arent the "problem" residents that usually get more attention. So all in all today was a good day !:nurse:

I am so pleased you had such a great day. Those are the ones that count. Thank you for taking the little bit of "extra" time you had and spending it on your patients. Trust me, they love you for it.

this is what keeps us coming back for more ............enjoy it
