guest/visiting nurse program for foreign nurses in california

Hello,

I was wondering if there existed 'guest/visiting nurse' programs in California, specifically in the Los Angeles area for foreign nurses? I was looking for something similar to a visiting foreign physician who can spend a year or so in a California medical school and can return home with an enhanced reputation, often to head a new subspecialty division in his/her home university or hospital.

Are there any programs like that that exist in Los Angeles for foreign nurses? Preferable at a large university or hospital. Does anyone know if Cedars-Sinai or UCLA offer anything similar? Any other place would be great too!
