Gpa for 2018 USF nursing program

Published

Good afternoon, I am applying to USF in Jan 2018. My GPA is 3.65 and was trying to see if this is a good gpa to be applying. My core class gpa is more like a 3.9. I am worried that because my gpa is not a 4.0 I am not going to get in.

I also applied to USF nursing program. My overall GPA is 3.65 and science is 3.71

The average GPA for admitted nursing students in 2017 at USF was a 3.85. You're slightly below average, but nothing you can't make up for if you get an interview! My current whole GPA is a 3.9 with a prerequisite GPA of a 4.0.

Applying for fall 2018 admission to the MSN-FNP program. Not sure how USF calculates my overall GPA, but my science GPA is a 4.0, nursing GPA 3.8 for my BSN, and it looks like an overall GPA of 3.879 based on my FSU transcript which has my most recent course-work.

How did you guys find out your USF GPA?

I didn't get into Fall 2017. I had a GPA 3.79 for pre req and 3.87 for overall and didn't get an interview. Hope this helps

My Nursing class gpa was a 4.0 and overall gpa is a 3.7 and didn't get an interview

My overall gpa was 3.79 and prereq GPA was around 3.84. I got an interview and was accepted for Fall 2018 for upper division.
