Got in!!

I will be starting my nursing program August 19th. I wasn't thinking I was going to get in this fall, but someone dropped and I got the call. I am stoked! :)

Before I knew I was getting in, my husband and I were talking about having another baby. We currently have an 11 month old. So, my question is...how are nursing programs and instructors with pregnant nursing students? I am not pregnant, but just wanted to get opinions.

Thanks!

Hello there I just wanted to say congrats on getting the spot!!! I'm not sure about how programs deal with students who are pregnant. My friend has been in her program for about a yr. Her baby is due in Oct. She was due to graduate in May with her class. She wants to continue school after the baby and grad with her class. I think she should sit a semester out. The school has stated the same. If she sits it out she will grad in Dec instead of May. This is not a bad deal in my opinion. Soapy be they allow you to continue you just sit out a semester and then return. Good luck to you in yr program and whatever you decide to do you'll still become a nurse!!! :)
