Gordon LPN-RN Bridge Program?

Published

Hello all!

I am currently finishing out my pre-reqs at Gordon College (LPN-RN Bridge) and I hear people around campus talk about how difficult it is to get into the program at Gordon, although I have not heard much about the LPN Bridge, just the regular nursing program.

Who has gotten into this program and what kind of scores did you have as far as GPA & TEAS? I graduated LPN school with a 2.9 (though my GPA was a 3.5 before my first quarter of fundamentals) I don't have an established GPA at Gordon yet because this is my first semester - but right now I have A's in all my classes except A&P1 and in that I have a B. I still have to take A&P2 & Microbio. I haven't taken the TEAS yet, but I've already paid and need to schedule it, I probably will wait til after this semester.

Also - does anyone know if they use your cumulative GPA or only take the courses that are nursing specific? I know where I went to LPN school they only took into consideration the courses directly related to the LPN Program (Pharm/Drug Calc, Diet & Nutrition, Med Term, etc).

Any information, even just a little is greatly appreciated!!
