Go Wv!!!

I just joined the site today, I love it. I didn't know if there were any of us our there:wink2: I'm a student at D&E and im almost done with my 1st yr of nursing school (2 yr prgm) I'm lookin for a summer externship between the morgantown and charleston area. Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me about UC I'm thinkin of transfering there b/c D&E is eatin my pockets!! Thanks for da feedback

Hey Champ,

I second that go mountaineers. Thomas and CAMC both hire externs, but I think that they did all of their hiring already. Give it a try though. I know several people didn't show up the the big group interview they had at CAMC, so there may still be openings.

If you're thinking of moving this way, then check out WV state. I know some people haven't been all that happy with UC. I go to state and like it pretty well. It's a new program, but so far they have a good passing rate on the NCLEX.

Thanks for da feedback! is WV state a community/tech college b/c I would like to to live in suite/dorms, would you have a # that I could contact them by? and the hospital too? Sorry about hitten you with all dez questions but I would love to kno thanks again.

There is a university and community college on the same campus, but the nursing department is in the community college. I don't stay there, but I think there are some dorms.
