I'm working in an outpatient setting and one of our MDs is suggesting we do genetics testing in our office. We already encounter a great deal of issues with this MDs population. We really do not have the staffing available to manage these already complex patients and we are trying to be realistic in our responses to this MD regarding this issue.
I know the tests are costly and we anticipate billing the patient for these tests. What kind of additional issues can we anticipate with these tests?
